Programs & Resources

MNA is comprised of four integrated program areas. These areas make up the whole of MNA, working together on a daily basis to further our achievements. Labor Relations is tuned to our union responsibilities of legally representing our members in union worksites; Nursing Practice is focused on promoting existing nursing practice standards, while researching new ones; Education enhances member professional development and Governmental Affairs influences health care and nursing through electoral and policy efforts. Many more resources are available through this organization that all contribute to building nurse power and influence. MNA employs a full time legal counsel, with expertise in a variety of labor and employment issues. A Communications department keeps you up to date with periodic publications, and nurtures community support with media.
