Steward Training

Steward training classes may be scheduled for your facility or area if you will have five to eight participants.  All steward training dates are open to any MNA Steward, regardless of location.  Call or e-mail Bettye Shogren to arrange classes.

In 2006, the E and GW Commission made a decision to open the steward training classes (101, 102, and 103) to any bargaining unit member.   Effective December 1, 2008, a $150 stipend will be paid to anyone attending those first-level classes.  Bargaining unit members who are not MNA stewards may attend classes 201 and 202, but the $150 stipend will only be paid to MNA stewards.
